Role Overview : SECURITY AND ENFORCEMENT SPECIALIST
We seek an experienced Security and Enforcement Specialist who will provide strategic liaison and
enforcement management to MAX business operations across locations in Cameroon. This position is
responsible for coordinating engagement with government security agents, enforcement of terms of
contracts, safety of all MAX employees and physical assets(Fleet), from any physical and security
threats. This role reports directly to the Group Head of Security and the Country Operations
Manager. You must be highly analytical, a self-starter, results-oriented and able to thrive in an
entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. We are also committed to and encourage equal

What You’ll Do :
MAX Security Liaison and Enforcement
- Implement and execute strategies for recovering outstanding fees due from champions.
- Prepare demand letters and communicate effectively with subscribers and champions
regarding overdue payments, outlining payment options and potential consequences of
continued non-payment.
Escalate unresolved cases according to established procedures, potentially involving legalaction or service suspension.
Identify and contact guarantors for accounts where the primary obligor has defaulted ontheir contractual obligations.
Clearly communicate the guarantor's responsibilities and the outstanding debt.Initiate legal processes and proceedings against champions and guarantors when necessaryand in accordance with legal counsel.
Receive and process reports of missing, defaulting and stolen vehicles to ensure detailedconclusive investigation and recovery
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and internal teams to facilitate the recoveryprocess.
Maintain detailed records of stolen vehicle incidents, recovery efforts, and communicationwith relevant parties.
Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations related to stolen vehicle recovery.Identify and manage instances of payment default, conduct thorough investigations andcommunicate with defaulting parties to understand their situation and explore potential
solutions.
Collaborate with legal counsel to determine appropriate legal action when breaches cannotbe resolved through negotiation.
Prepare regular reports on the status of all ongoing matters.Identify trends and potential risks related to contract enforcement.Liaise effectively with internal departments to facilitate contract enforcement.Build and maintain positive working relationships with external stakeholders, including lawenforcement, legal representatives, and defaulting parties where appropriate.
MAX Safety
Provide safety consultation to MAX employees and champions about insecurities and traveladvisory
Select and implement the most effective systems for employees, fleet and championsprotection (manage security company engagement, ensure all facilities are adequately
monitored and define security rules in each facility)
Identify any potential threats to employees' and champions' information or physical safetyInteract with employees and champions to keep them abreast of best security practicesLead educational efforts to empower employees and champions to prevent security threatsof any kind
Develop, write and publish materials outlining security procedures for MAXConduct regular tests on processes / trips to determine areas that are vulnerable to attackPrepare security reports for clients, managers and other important personnelRecommend actions to prevent attacks in security’s weak areasEstablish liaisons with security agencies to ensure employees', fleet and champions safety isprioritised
Competitive intelligence and new market opportunitiesTest and analyze MAX assets for potential security threatsConduct security threat assessments and advise the Management accordinglyBe the point person with clients to discuss security measures, provide information andfeedback to MAX Management
Identify any potential threats to MAX employees, determine the best security measures, andadvise accordingly
Collaborate with People Operations and Operations Manager to lead or assist with anyinternal investigations
Fight internal security threats as well as external onesInteract with all employees to keep them abreast of best security practicesEducate the staff to prevent security threats of any kindDevelop and implement MAX Security Policy and Procedures across all locationsRequirements
What You’ll Need :
Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in similar roleProven experience (typically 2-5 years) in stakeholder management, contract enforcement,debt recovery, collections, or a similar role
Extensive relationship with government security agencies in CameroonBasic understanding of criminal law and procedure, contract law in CameroonExperience in global / international security contextsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulatecomplex issues clearly and persuasively.
