Maviance is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to support our front desk operations and gain hands-on experience in an office administration setting. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, assist with administrative tasks, and help ensure smooth daily operations.

The position will report to the HR Coordinator and based in Douala, Cameroon.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Manage the reception area and ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Provide general administrative support to respective teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration , Communication, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Being Bilingual is a plus.
