Job Description

We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our technology team in Douala, Cameroon. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in information technology while working alongside experienced IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and contribute to various IT projects and daily operations.

  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Support the help desk team with technical support tickets
  • Help maintain and update computer systems and networks
  • Participate in IT project implementations
  • Document technical processes and procedures
  • Assist in basic system administration tasks
  • Support data backup and recovery processes
  • Help with software installations and updates
  • Collaborate with team members on various IT initiatives

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong academic performance
  • Basic understanding of computer systems and networks
  • Fundamental knowledge of programming concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to communicate in English (French language skills are a plus)
